Hello Everyone,
My Name is Wayne and I’m an old dude that has never quite decided what I wanted to be when I grow up so I just never grew up. Just got older and kept playing with toys.
I raised some great kids and now doing the grandfather thing, been married a billion years to a woman that still washes the grease out of my clothes and brings me warm cookies to the garage. So life is good.
I have a few cars now but I have had a bunch over the years and I must say I’m not too brand loyal, I like most all of the American pre 79 cars for some reason. They all made some good ones and some flops too. My taste has changes over the years, What I think would be cool to drive these days I would have walked before riding in 35 years ago. Just the other day I looked at a full size hub cap and thought “That’s a great looking cap; maybe I’ll hang it on the wall”. But looking around the shop I couldn’t find a free spot so I grabbed a beer and got back to work.
My current Mopar is a 65K mile 1966 Coronet 440 with a 273/auto peg leg rear. It’s in great shape. I am changing a few things but I’ll get into that in another thread.
I also have a 1954 Ford F100, a 1965 AC Cobra Replica and 1955 Tbird Restomod. My last Mopar was a 69 Dart. It was another low mileage rust free ride but I had to part with it to fit the Coronet in the garage. I am also a member of the FABO forum.
I’m not a big number forum poster but I try to keep up with what’s going on and really like the casual and informative mood this place has. I look forward to contributing when I can and learning from the members here.
