Wanting to know, if the pitman arm on a 67 Coronet is the same if you are power or manual steering. I thought they were different , but have been told they are the same ? I switched from power to manual, the pitman arm that came on the box is different , longer than the one I had on the car with power steering.

Thanks in advance .

same.just did the switch on my 67 and the pitman from the old power unit bolted up and had perfect geometry for my manual box.

The old 18595 TRW or K780 MOOG which is now only available in the "repro" world -- is definitively 1962 - 1964 All, and 1965 - 1970 "B" Body -- "ALL" -- meaning both Power & Manual Steering..... Be comforted....

Just went to install the P-S-T Pitman but my arm is straight. I don't understand how this will work even with their note from eBay shown below - the steering wheel will no longer be centered. Will that effect the power steering box center? I see FirmFeel lists 2 different arms, one for manual and one for power steering.

My rig: 1962 Dodge Dart wagon, 318ci, power steering.

Please note your O.E. pitman arm may be straight. This arm is slightly curved but will not negatively affect the steering geometry and will function as O.E. type equipment.

Rare Parts shows only one arm:

Are one of those arms in the pic a fast ratio from firm feel?

Don't know about B bodies but on an E body, the fast ratio arm is noticeably longer than the non fast ratio arm....at least it is on the factory stuff.

And a O.E.M. 62.

Just checked the collision and parts book, no distinction between power/manual.
I do remember when I put a firm feel on my 67 Charger, I had to change the arm to the newer style.

Got it to work - you have to clock the pitman arm to match the position of your tie rods at center steering.

The part number cast on the P-S-T pitman arm is P18452...
