Our club members have club garage nights during the winter.Members take turns hosting get togethers usually food and refreshments served. Last week I noticed this valve cover collection attached to the ceiling in this members garage. SAM_2759.jpgSAM_2758.jpg

That's one of the coolest man cave ceiling i think I've ever seen ! I may have to keep all my valve covers and intake manifolds and such and mouth them up there like that ... or maybe the walls :)

Totally agree very cool !!

Had a collection of valve covers hanging on the wall and still have some but man, my place is already so full of stuff that it's hard to get anything done in it let alone have a get together lol. And I've been trying to raise some funds to help offset the costs of putting my car together so a lot of this excess 'stuff' is finding a new home.

So last nights garage night was said not to missed and a lot of people showed up.Enough said here are some pictures, oh yes he had a B Body Mopar 67 GTX but it had to go outside for the party.SAM_2771.jpgSAM_2772.jpgSAM_2773.jpgSAM_2774.jpgSAM_2775.jpgSAM_2776.jpgSAM_2777.jpgSAM_2778.jpgSAM_2780.jpgSAM_2782.jpgSAM_2783.jpgSAM_2784.jpgSAM_2785.jpgSAM_2786.jpgSAM_2787.jpgSAM_2788.jpgSAM_2789.jpgSAM_2790.jpgSAM_2793.jpgSAM_2794.jpg

That's not a garage. That's a museum! lol

I started collecting stuff in the 80's but then noticed I was spending too much money on collectables so I quit...not to mention how time consuming it can be. I used to do woodworking too but man, my shop just wasn't big enough for it all not to mention the mess the woodworking made to everything. On top of all that, I wasn't 'funded' enough for it all either.

I think all the wall art is cool but I'd rather spend my money on another car. I like the garage night idea.

He has 5 cars maybe thats enough for him.

we have a garage night 3 times a week in other friends garages its a good time

I been doing that in my Man Cave on Saturday nights. It's going really well. It always ends up in driveway as well since it's still in the 60's at night. Lots of beer and trash talking.

That sounds like a GREAT idea. I have to work that in somehow.

There are definitely some nice garages there. Mine on the other hand looks like a wrecking yard(not one of the nice ones).

Been a long time since I've had a get together. I used to own an acre of land plus there's a 100' wide easement out back and I had a 900' of go cart track laid out in sorta of a kidney shape covering 1/2 of my land and all of the easement that stretched out 200' long. Had 6 go carts out on it one day with family and friends and our kids. No drinking on that one but we had a good time and everyone rode the carts....neighbors hated it :D
