I'm on the hunt for another 68 Charger R/T. Must have a/c. I'd prefer a done (or reasonably done) clean & honest car.

If you dont mind me asking, what is it you do for a living? Because I want to do that too so I can have all the toys.
Wal Mart greeter.
Thought you said you were selling the pickle because you were out of room??? LOL!
You do know that 68 R/Ts did not have AC as an option? A 383-4V was the biggest AC car.
You may be correct, looking at the ordering info now, they may have been available on 440 R/Ts with automatic transmissions.

The Pickle isnow on its way to S. Carolina.

That is not correct, my 68 R/T has factory air and still has it's factory installed 440 (rebuilt).
I had an original Calif. car I bought from a neighbor lady in 1974, that was a 68 Charger R/T 440 Magnum w-A/C 727tf auto, buckets/console car "from the factory", matter of fact, I had several of them from 68-70's that were originally equipped with A/C & a 440 Magnum's or Commando's, among many other Mopars/Dodges/Chryslers/Plymouths similarly equipped...
This is also an original automatic transmission car is it not? That is not correct, my 68 R/T has factory air and still has it's factory installed 440 (rebuilt).
So, when are you going to sell it to me?
Yes, it appears I read it wrong and AC was an option on a Charger R/T, but only with an automatic in 1968 that is, 1969 and later or other models I do not know about.
