This shouldn't be in the jokes forum, as this is some serious $hit right here! I never really thought about it till I read it, but the guy has a very valid point. If I had a kid, I would do the same thing. I wonder how much of a stir this caused for the school board and the family? I also wonder if this made the news? I guess not otherwise I think it would have gone viral by now.

Here in Southern MD our schools DO observe Veteran's Day (they have it off).

I'm with you Shorty. It used to piss me off that I had to work on Veteran's day while someone that I knew that was a draft dodger got the day off because he was a big shot at the local bank.:angryfire: I'm almost over my anger, but not quite. Serenity now.............serenity now............
