the backing plate is cut from a stop sign and the guages are autometer. That looks really good - More info please, is the back panel aluminum? What brand of gauges and which gauges did you install? Any more pics? Thanks
yes,i left tabs at each screw location and bent them over to line up.i am pretty sure the tach and speedo are 3 3/8 inch gauges.just measure the space between bezel edges, that is what i used.small gauges are what ever you want.designed it on paper first.Sweet!!! This is what I've been wanting to do with my 66 Belvedere. I'll have to relocate my heater, wiper, and headlight controls though. Vintage Air makes a AC/Heater control module that will fit in the center of the dash, between the glove box and gauge cluster. I can put the lights and wiper controls on the lower left like you did. Did you bend the sheet metal around the back of the bezel? What size speedo and tach are you using?

the backing plate is cut from a stop sign and the guages are autometer. the surround is cut from a very bad original dash and just made flat to fit up against the aluminum.
Well, If I get caught stealing a stop sign I will just say my pal 67 Coronet has one and I really need a new look for my dash, LOL!
Thanks, looks great.
