Took off intake and carb and started to take the intake to get it hot tanked and noticed 2 holes inside the intake, why would there be two holes one on each side of intake inside both located on primary side of intake???????? I can e-mail picture to anybody if you want to see this

I think it has to do with the heat cross over, but don't quote me.....mine has the same thing.

Those are part of the EGR. Does your intake have a machined pad at the heat cross over on the throttle side? If so then that's what it is. They also should be plugged for obvious vacuum leak potential.

my 2191 intake ( EDE Performer ) has the same "holes "....down in the intake would it make sense to plug them too ? Or can I leave them alone..
The EGR" plugs" are installed ( on the trottle side )...

I have one of those intakes on my 440 and I went ahead and taped them 1/8" NPT and plugged them. I didn't like the idea of gas possibly collecting in there.
