I don't know what its called so I'm swagging it.

Its the 8" long rod with S ends with clips. It connects the hood release lever to the hood release mechanism. I only need the rod? Anyone?

I would bend a rod up out of the right size wire one would use for tig welding stainless if there was a welding shop around... play with some coat hanger wire to get the right length or just use that.

Sleepar - Its a Rotisserie resto. If it were a driver I would try that. I'm trying to make every nut ad bolt correct. My buddy who used to own it died 4 years ago. It was his. He had it for 15 yrs or so and I tried to buy it every time I saw it stuffed in the back of his barn/shop. He always told me I wouldn't do it the right way...I'm proving him wrong.

I dug through all my labeled bags, boxes of spare parts and the parts car out back. No luck. I really need one.

Give this guy a call. I've bought a few things from him with no problems.
