Fun thread... what is the strangest, most expensive, oddest car you have sat in, driven, ridden in? Me?

I got a ride in Bob Kropp's 70 Hemi, 4 speed, no console, bucket seat Superbird. Sat in Jack McCoy's 69 Winston West Daytona, cant imagine 500 miles in that.

Drove a Richard Petty Driving Experience Car.

I worked for a Auto Dealership Service, and stopped at Braman Motors when in Miami, and sat in the $420,000 Bentley Arnage I help the dealer with a pricing issue on, They had a Contenental GT there too.

The coolest (and most expensive) car I've driven was my '06 Ford GT.

Hate you because that is my ultimate goal car. Aren't you the guy with the 2 Chargers also?

I use my hate/jealousy as a gauge to know which cars I really like. I really don't hate you, but I am envious. I have sat in the Ford GT but that's it.

Got to tour the Lamborghini factory and museum, sat in drivers seat of a brand new Diablo (silver chameleon). The workers dont fully sit in them, they ride the door sills while cruising them around. The rep drove each of us around in the same car. Its a process just to get in and out of one. Quite an impressive process to watch one being built.

I sat in a few. 300 SL gullwing. Real Cobra. Real GT40. Some others that I don't recall. Rode in a new Ferrari when it was new in the 90's. I don't recall the model now but I do remember it had an annoying buzz at freeway speeds. I owned a 72 Porsche 911T.

First car (and oldest?) to drive was a 56 Plymouth Belvedere Sports Coupe in 58 or 9. Most expensive to drive were Vipers and have driven about a 1/2 dozen of those.....57 Mercedes sedan (don't remember the designation) but it sure rode good. Shoot, can't remember everything these days lol. Old motor homes count?? Looked at and test drove a 68 Shelby Mustang back in the mid 70's and drove just about everything Chrysler made during the 90's when my wife and I were driving for a dealership....but the coolest ride was in a 71 Duster that clocked 9.95 @ 134. Wasn't too cool getting sideways in it at the hit of 2nd gear when it got into someone's oil. Didn't crash it at least.

Got a ride in a real SS/A Hemi-Cuda when I was a youngster. Got to drive a Talladega Torino in high school. Coolest car I just sat in was one of Sox & Martin's Dusters at an AHRA Grand American Series event in St Louis, probably in 1972 or 73. Thank you Herb. Was a big deal to a 16 year old, heck, a big deal now.

Probably the new viper when I was in vegas for the promotional srt experience they had for the launch of the new model. Got to drive a little then ride in it with a pro behind the wheel.

I am fortunate as a car guy to be involved in a business that has given me the chance to drive cars from the brass era on up to recent exotics and nearly every type of custom and muscle car in between. Memorable rides have been in an "engineering mule" Aston Martin Vantage at well over 100mph on the M1 in England to cruising in the recent custom "Imperial Speedster" 59 Imperial custom roadster. My favorite rides though are the cars with a few bumps and patina that ooze heritage and character and show signs of being well used but well loved.

1950's plymouth hood going down a steep hill with about 3' of snow packed down by snowmobiles and then wattered down the night before..... would have passed Clark Griswold in Christmas vacation with out the cooking spray but we spent up half the night waxing it up any way....

And second was an 07 srt 8 charger reidsorensen one of one edition my ex had one from Wrigley sweetest ride contest because she was runner up and the winner didn't reply back.... it was the only one of the cars that was black and white Shelby stripes...

Oddest.
My sister bought a green one from Nalley Chevrolet on Stewart Ave.
The first Honda dealer in Atlanta. It's now Nalley Honda.
We went to Tennessee with three people in the car. I had fun riding sideways in the little back seat up and down the mountains all the way up from Atlanta.
Could not fit in it any other way.
It rained on the way up. Overnight it went into the teens there and the car would not start in the morning.
I pushed the car up and down the street for a long time before I figured out what was wrong.
I was only about 15. The electric fuel pump must have gotten water in it.
I had my other sister, who we were staying with, boil pans of water which I put under the car to thaw it out.
Then it started right up.
