The upper control arm bushings I got for extra cam adjustment are .28" smaller than the original is there a way to compensate for this ?

really know one has any ideas on how to fix this? Standard bushings are bigger for some reason. I was told to use the ones for extra camber. However, they are .18" smaller each bushing. hole measure 1.88 and the nappa eccentric bushings measure 1.70. Big difference.

If you buy the standard bushings they are 1.88. Wish I had known these before I install them. I will have to make a harden shim now.

Know one really experienced the same issue ?

Wow...that's a big difference. Seems like the wrong part no? If not, I can only assume that you need a custom offset busing sleeve that pushes the bushing to one side to get the extra camber?

I took the original eccentric washers and used a belt sander to get the right thickness. Then used them as a harden washer to make up the gap.
Seems to have worked. I am trying to decide if I should just go ahead and pull them out and start all over.

Are you saying that you bought offset upper control arm bushings and they are not as wide as the originals?

The moog offset bushings have washers that have to be pressed on each end after there installed in the control arm. Maybe they are the same and the washers were not in the box

I bought the QA1 eccentric bolts. Those bolts are a little bit longer than the original. When you buy the bushings you have 2 choices, standard and extra camber adjustment. What NAPA failed to tell me is that the bushings are of different length or width . 1.88 vs 1.70 . I read several posts and many said to go with the extra camber. I was advised to go with -2 degree camber. In hindsight, I would have just gone with the standard ones. I made this post as a warning to others, be sure to check what you are buying. I may later pull the extra camber bushings out , it just depends if there is a problem when I go get it aligned and when I start driving it.

UPDATE: Since no one addressed this issue. I pulled the smaller bushings out and replaced with original bushings. Should have done that from the get go. Don't waste your time buying the smaller bushings for extra adjustment. The gap is too great and your A arm moves back and forth which is NOT good. I have no idea why they are sold without instructions on how to make them work. My two cents.
