Factory window tint '66

I found a rear quarter glass for my '66 Belvedere, but it's clear, and my windows are factory tinted. Can I get the clear window tinted to match? Were there different tint shades in 1966?

no...the glass is tinted when it's made...you will not be able to match the factory tint with after market stuff

Damn.....that stinks. I already bought the glass....forgot to check that little tidbit till after I got it. Is there more than one tint shade? if so....how can you tell which shade you are getting when buying glass?

there is only clear & tint for factory Chrysler glass...and only one tint shade was offered. The glass should say "tint" in one of the corners if it's an OE piece of glass

Thanks.....I will have to try and find a right rear quarter glass with the tint now. Anyone need a clear?
