Alright guys help me with this issue. My 69 dodge charger starts and runs fine with no issues if I drive it for 20 minutes or longer and shut it off it will not start. The motor is a 440 nothing special I converted it to electronic ignition and it has a new coil. During the process of trying to restart the car gas is being sprayed into the carb when I pump it and I did pull the coil wire and after cranking a few seconds a weak spark (to me) appears. There's no constant spark while cranking? If I let the car cool down after a period of time she will fire back up. Any thoughts? Thanks FBBO!

lol yes and it's new.

try a different box

I bought one of these and it kicks ***

not saying its your problem, but I would start there. I have read a ton of bad reviews on those orange boxes. also inspect your ballast resistor. something is getting hot and shutting off its sounds like. also , your ignition box MUST be grounded , metal on metal , to the body. make sure all your grounds are solid

Grounds are good, box is grounded very well-seems the heat is affecting whatever the issue is. Thanks for the info.

Could it some how be vapor locking even though Im seeing fuel spray in the carb.?

An older Holley set up single feed fuel line connects in from the drivers side

it must be an 1850 600 cfm. I have probably been through 6 or 8 trying to get a good one. they like to flood, they are finicky in my experience. I finally stopped using them, when they work , they work good. a couple would start and run , then start misfiring and flood out. I even bought one brand new and it leaked fuel from the throttle shaft
