I'm new here from Upstate NY. I'm 35. I'm a big Mopar head. My father used to build and Drag Race Mopars for years. I currently have a 2012 Challenger SRT8 392. I used to have a 1967 GTX that I started to restore when I was 15. I got in trouble and my Dad sold it on me. He had a 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe 4spd 383 convertible, power windows, all the options, all original and gave it to me. I moved to NYC for 13 years for work and left the car in storage in one of his garages. After about 7 years I went to look at it and it was GONE. Dad sold it again!! LOL What a guy I tell you. I would love to get another 70 Barracuda, that's my Dream car, but at the moment I can't afford it. I'm currently looking for a 1969 Roadrunner project car to restore. Something where most of the body work has been done already. The car can be completely disassembled but needs to be complete. I'm making my father help me build one last Hot Rod LOL This time he won't be able to sell it on me!!

Welcome. Make the old man an offer he can't refuse !!!!!!

Welcome, and don't forget the sausage and peppers Sonny!

"Mingia! , Those peppers! !" Fuhgettaboutit!

:nono:....E, now why would someone put ketchup & kraut on an Italian Sausage???what was wrong with that man?

Hi Clemenza, welcome to the forum! Good luck on your next project!!

Really, I don't understand how the sales procedures work in some states. Where I live, I have to put my signature on a transfer paper if someone's going to buy my car. No signature means no legal sale, no transfer of title, no insurance. Nobody can sell my car out from under me without my signature even if it's on someone elses property for a decade. True, they could have it hauled away as scrap, but nobody else can put it on the road.

So, keep the next one close to you at all times :) Good idea in looking for one with the bodywork already done, someone elses half finished project could be a money saver for you.

welcome to FBBO for the other coast
