Wow . . . that looks really nice TekHousE . . . and it's even prettier being in YOUR backyard and not mine ! ! ( grin )

I do like the snow, and I do miss the snow . . . but all my years growing up in that stuff . . . I can take it or leave it now . . . but it sure is pretty !

If I could ship it over I would..Temps are rising already and its all going to be slush tomorrow.

Why is it that before Christmas that we look forward to snow, then all of asudden we can t stand it. Well, at least in our christmas songs?

It'll be back, soon enough
Get out the snow shovel, start diggen

I can't wait, NOT !!
I hate the Devils dandruff, it wrecks everything,
fun to rooster-tail tear it up on the quad or truck thou

Finally, we are getting a nice rain storm......major flooding, mud slides, power outages and people being told to stay home. I can't wait for more!!

Hey tek, what month do you expect the snow to normally hang on until? My buddy lives in Minesota, a pretty cold part of the USA, and he normally sees snow in the ground through a good part of April or even may some years.

Our winter last year hung on till almost May. It was one of the longest on record. Thought it would never end.

Once our temps drop down, we will have snow permanently until end of March-ish. Last few years it has hung on..global warming? I don't think so.. I will be happy to see most snow cover starting to go about mid March ideally.

Tek as you know over here it's sunny & hot...bbq's with prawns and nice cold beer.....don't know how you guys put up with snow, you can't drive your cars and they stay in storage all rugged up :tongueflap:
If I wanna see snow ,I head up in the mountains in winter and come home to no snow......beaches and babes for me ...lol

Those scenes are nice I've seen 'em on postcards.

We are leaving on the 20th for the Gold Coast mate!

My Sister in Brissie has ordered all our seafood, and Christmas is going to HOT this year for a change! Cannot wait!

No snow here yet, only dustings, been in the fifties most of December.

Pretty cool pictures guys! Could be just me, but I always enjoy the sense of peace & calm, on a quiet day following a fresh blanket of snow. And then I have to drive it it, and all of that peace & calm is completely tossed out the window.

I feel exactly the same way Prop, It all looks so beautiful and peaceful until you have to drive somewhere. It doesn't snow often enough around here that people get good at driving in it. A lot of 'em can barely drive when it's warm and dry. Get some snow on the roads and it's like bumpercars at the county fair.:steering:
