Plumbing the fuel lines and vents.I know the one vents through the small tube and into the frame rail.Where does the other go to.Tank was out of the car when i got it so i have no clue.

The 70's have a much different vent system than the 69's. There is a big steel pipe in the trunk that is capped off and I'm pretty sure there are five hoses that go to it. The tank itself should also have 4 nipples on it that connect to the pipe. The 5th connection goes to the valve cover breather on the engine.

I think the 4-5 line was a calif.emmissions setup! Might be wrong.Anyone know for sure?

Only the CA cars had that set up.This car has 2 vents,1 vents to that small tube into the rail.Where does the 2nd one go?

Somebody has to have a pic or idea how the 70' fuel line vent set up (non CA) is in the back....stunned.

Goes to show how many 70's are on this site.. Off the top of my head, Moparstuart has one as well as Gregs70'..

Interesting. Now I want to know what's what and I don't even have a 70!!

My 70 Satellite has 2 vents. Will try to clear away the debris later (if I decide to warm up the garage) & see where they go.

Checked it out, just like the photo by Propwash. Line comes up thru the floor, has that goose neck & then goes back thru the floor & terminates. The penetrations have large hole grommets. The short line just extends up into the shock mount rail, turns horizontal and terminates.

Who pays any attention to posting dates. Messing with these old cars, aren't we trying to make time stand still anyway?

That be it! In 1973 those words didn't really make a lot of sense. At the age of 69 the song has a lot of relevance.
