64 fury side molding clips

Does anyone know where you can purchase the side molding trim clips for the 64 fury? They are goody looking and I can't find anything close.

I have been looking for the same clips for my 65 Belvedere II. I found one on ebay, but still looking for more. Not easy to find. I sent a message to RT specialties with a photo, still waiting on a response.

They used several sizes and styles as the trim narrowed down the side of the car from what I've found.

Lol! Just like many of the 64 parts and pieces, some are pretty hard to come by.

Any of those shown in the above pic, could easily be re-used, if not rusted too bad. Bead-blasted, or some chemical to de-rust the clips, dip 'em in primer of your choice, and good to go.

And, probably 100% better than any chink knock-off, if even out there. Just my take on it.

Joe Suchy sent me pics of some generic plastic ones that can be trimmed down to make work. Probably not quite as good as the original but should work fine. Almost all of my original ones broke when we were removing the trim. To much rust on them to reuse any.

Funny thing is, in the 60s, nobody dreamed folks in these years, would be hounding over those cars. Parts scrapped, and such. Just the way it is.

Joe probably has what you need. I got my trim clips from him for my Bevedere. Super guy to work with, too.

I welded 4-5 back where they broke in half but still need 4 I think. The front fender takes one with the screws, a wing looking affair so does the ones in trunk up to the wheel tubs then snap in type. At the ends are nut type. The wink type could be used if I can get to them inside the door and panels
