Correction:
This is a number matching engine and transmission

My brother has a 74 GTX that is in worse shape than that one, recently appraised at $11000.00. It was broken down by options to determine how rare it is, bench seat, colom shift, twisted yellow, etc.. His is 1 of 69, do some more digging and if you can get it to run that would help.

Please, please, please! Grammar & punctuation lessons are needed here! Is there a question hidden somewhere in all this, if so, what is it?

In my opinion and experience, a car is only worth what some one is willing to pay. Don't let the Barrett-Jackson and Mecum auctions get any ideas into your head, I personally think that 73 might go for 7500 on a good day, unless I'm missing something. There was a decent 73 roadrunner, running and driving, on dallas craigslist that sold for around 7, but the one you are looking at is more rare, and needs a lot of work to be a nice car. If you really want to buy and resell it on ebay, throw it on there with a reserve and see where it gets.

Don't quote me on any of this, car could be worth a lot more than 7500, or a lot less for that matter.

Don't forget, that's ebay prices. Cut the price in half, if not more, to some one not buying through ebay.

- Determine the #1 restored condition value.
- Subtract the cost of everything it would take (parts & labor) to get it to a #1 condition.
- The remaining dollar amount is what it is worth.

Using my personal restoration experience as a basis, I would put that car at a $2,500 bargain buy. If you were lucky enough to find the person who's 'gotta have it' and has deep pockets to restore it, you MIGHT double your money.

learn like the rest of us did.
take a chance.
buy it and put it on egag and let it run.
hope for the best.
if you loose on it .
OH WELL

I apologize for the punctuation and grammar errors I was in a big hurry when I wrote it out. I am just trying to help this older fellow clear his property. Other cars are a 67 coronet r/t shell a 69 road runner shell a Plymouth "gold duster" and lastly a 383 four SPD 70 road runner

I don't like to lose on any car

Unless they started recently I believe they don't make reproduction quarter panels for 73 or 74 GTX Roadrunner..

With out much detail on the car I'd say 3k they used to be cheap to restore but prices have been driven up so I'd say resto on it doing it your self would be at least 15k-20k so not much meat left you might get 4-5 for it on eBay so good luck but if it doesn't sell I wouldn't complain that's a cool car ,I never buy one to flip unless I like it because it might not sell them your stuck with it any pics and info on the rest

I can get the damage fixed and repaint restripe and make it a daily driver for less than 2k

Wow. You can do the work, or have it done for less than $2K? Unless it ends up 'looking like a cheap fix', that would be a no-brainer...

If you have pictures of it, I'd love to see the 70 roadrunner he has.
