Can't say enough about these guys at Accurate Exhaust, very professional origization and once I removed the starter on my GTX the exhaust system mounted right up.

I would recommend anyone looking at a new exhaust system to try these guys out image.jpg

My 67' GTX Exhaust from accurate exhaust is ten years old now, and like new. Sounds like the original as well. No complaints!

Just installed mine not too long ago- good quality except for the u-clamps that came with it.
Snapped the very first one I tightened and was not even close to the recommended torque specs.
Went down to the local auto parts store and bought a whole new set of a lot beefier ones made in USA.
No issues after that, but for the whole cost of the system you'd think they would supply quality u-clamps and not "made in Taiwan"!
Other than that I have no complaints-easy to install - everything fit right- and looks nice after installation completed.

That isn't good. I will be buying another set for a 383, and I don't need a reduced quality product.

I'm hanging the new exhaust on my '67 R/T this week. I bought the tail pipes from Accurate, but ended up with mufflers from Classic, and H-pipe from Waldron Exhaust. I liked the Accurate tail pipes because the have the right contour on the exit end, but couldn't justify the cost of their H-pipe. By the time I figured in shipping, that pipe alone would have been over $500; too much for me. The Waldron H-pipe looks and fits good, and was much less expensive.

My original plan was to just replace the tail pipes, but ended up having to replace the mufflers. After those arrived, it became apparent that the H-pipe would also need to be replaced for everything to fit correctly. In retrospect, it would have been easier to order everything at one time from a single supplier. But, due to cost, probably wouldn't have gone with Accurate anyway. Not knocking their product at all; if my tail pipes are any indication, their work is top flight. But they are extremely proud of it.

Interestingly, NO ONE has tail pipe hangers for a '67 Dodge B-body (no chrome tips like a GTX). Apparently, the one supplier in the world who makes them burned down several months ago, and no one has bothered to tool them up. I ended up having to build some from photos I found on line. They look passable, but I'll replace them someday if anyone ever gets around to re-reproducing them.

Cheers,

JD
