Does anybody have an easy to navigate under dash wiring diagram available? I have my original wiring harness i need to reinstall but the diagram in the manual is tough for a guy not used to reading them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

On a side note, am i better off replacing the dash harness or using the original? It doesnt appear to be hacked up but I'd hate to run into an issue seeing as i've restored everything else on the vehicle.

Tough question. If you don't mind the money, probably a good "repop" harness. The connector terminals "are the thing." If the actual harness is in good shape, IE not melted, corroded badly, you can get the terminals for the connectors and re-work them. Biggest issues are high-amp damage at the bulkhead connector, the headlight switch, blower switch, and ignition switch.

If you get balled up by the diagrams I might be able to help. I assume you have a factory manual, and not Haynes, or the aftermarket diagrams from MyMopar?

If you have specific questions can probably step you through. Learning to post a screenshot of the section of diagram helps. So if you have a pdf of the manual that makes that pretty easy. You can download quite a few years of those manuals from MyMopar.

I would replace the wiring being original. You can buy M&H from YearOne, best plug and play wiring made.

Not sure how easy these are for you to follow but I can help you out if you need it.

Thanks guys, with not having an electrical background the diagrams can be a pain. I will let you know if i need some help. I'll look at the cost of a new harness as well, just seems like it would eliminate any extra issues that may be had with my original.

If you have the shop manual for the 69 it'll show the behind the dash wiring. I used the 70 manual for mine, great tool to use.

Those are the 3rd party diagrams, not by Chrysler. They are very useful at times, and sometimes easier to follow. The problem with them is that in some cases they don't show all the connectors, and leave out many of the options. I use them, but the "goto" source is always the factory manuals

However there IS a mistake in the factory manuals for a couple of years. What they show going through the bulkhead connector concerning the start wire (yellow) and the horn (green / red I think) is screwed up
