That car is what sparked my interest also. I think it's a awesome color combo. if he had proof of it being like that original I'd love to restore it.
Well, if you buy it I have a date correct 6 pack motor, all rebuilt and ready to go from the air cleaner to the 402 oil pan...
The hard work on the car is done, the parts it comes with are nothing to write home about, I would have bought the car for $12500 but not 20K..
For $20K I would buy this one first..

Figure its all there and a lot more correct than the other one, sure its not all new metal but you have a build sheet and fender tag, and I LOVE black b bodies, BUT they are rare, sure black / gold would be rare, but you maybe buying a 1 of none car!!!! This car is black /black and it would be gorgeous all done. This is a scat pack car, comes with a dana, hemi 4 speed, and the 6 pack.. It would be one HECK of a mopar...
Figure it this way...
6 pack- $1800
dana- $1800
dash- $1500
18 spline- $1800
bell, pedals, etc- $750
Motors and parts $1500 (hp manifods have been bringing $400 alone)
Seats, column, and other parts $1500
That stuff adds up to around $11-12K then you have a complete body, doors, hood, decklid, fenders, bumpers, grilles, etc... SO if you get the car for anything under $19K you are doing VERY well and it will be hard to get hurt with it..
Now for resto...
Driveline rebuild $10K
Body $8K
Suspension, tires, and brakes $6K
Interior $6K
You will be into the car for under $50K much less if you do the bulk yourself... If you are comfortable with that, its the one because v code cars are not getting easier to find, and IMO, I like them A LOT...
