FOR SALE 727 transmission inspection cover

Bought it from a FABO member who advertised it as a 904 inspection cover. Having never seen a photo comparison of a 904 vs 727 plate , I didn't know the difference when I saw the seller's photo. Turns out it is a 727 cover.

As a result, I now have this 727 cover for sale. The small plate is included as well; just didn't photograph it.

Will sell for $30 + shipping or trade straight up for a 904 cover.

Located in Miami, Florida for anyone who wants the thing locally.

That looks like a 904 cover to me. Looks to me like you have a 727 trans, therefore needing a 727 cover

Which one looks like what? The trans on my car is definitely a 904, and I have since bought a cover for a 904, and it fits.

The cover I show here fits the small block (360) engine I have, but not the 904 trans, and all the research I've done shows the 727 starter mounting a bit farther outwards, hence the kink in the cover at the lower starter bolt hole, which the 904 doesn't have.

Compare the kink in the small block 727 at left with the small block 904 at left in the next photo:

Between these photos, my test fitting, some Googling, checking on eBay, and buying the correct plate in the meantime, I'm almost certain the plate I'm selling is for a small block 727.
