If you could attend only one this coming year which would you choose.

Taking a car for display....

Thanks....

I have been to Carlisle several times as a spectator. The weather sucked every year and a billy goat would be better suited to climb around looking for parts. Never been to the Nats.

Don't get that feeling at all!

Turnout and car quality may very well be better. If you are a spectator or have mobility issues this is fyi only. Get ready for high humidity and fogged lenses.

I've been to the Nats just twice, but have been to Carlisle about 13 times now. I think the humidity issue is about the same at both venues. As for the number of cars and parts vendors there's no contest, it's Carlisle.

I'm always the oddball in the bunch, the Nats! Yes Carlisle is an awesome show with allot of vendors but it ends there, the Nats is a little less organized but tons of cars, vendors and you have on the spot drag racing all day plus the chassis dyno which equals more fun!

Carlisle if you want to just look and buy. Nats if you like a little noise and drag racing thrown in the mix. The Nats used to have great cruises in the evenings on Brice Road and then at Heath, something Carlisle doesn't offer, but they have been dying down somewhat lately.

Carlisle has South Mountain Dragway about 30 minutes from the showfield. Friday is race day.

Both great shows depending on what you like, Carlisle is way more organized, I could not decide which is the best so I do both.

I have done Carlisle all 27 years of the Chrysler show -- and watched from its infancy how the show has grown from a little postage stamp to filling all 94 acres -- with cars, swap meet, car corral, events,
seminars, special guests (through the years -- Richard Petty, Virgil Exner Jr., "Daisy Duke", etc., etc.). They DO make an effort at Carlisle to expand the show and make it better and better for a MOPAR
enthusiast. Anyone who is anyone in parts is at Carlisle...
Meanwhile, I have done the Mopar Nationals for 21 years (this year was its' 35th annual) -- ever since my neighbors, at the time, told me about it -- and that show 20 years ago was actually better than
Carlisle.... However, through these 21 years -- the show has shrunk every year -- some vendors have blown it off for years now -- there is a lot less space... for everything... Yes, there is racing on the
site at "the Nats", but it is not like it is Kyle Busch, Jimmy Johnson, John Force, and Cruz Pedregon -- it is John Jones, Jim Smith, and Fred Marshall --- ho, hum....

I think you are getting the idea --- come visit me at H107 - H108 at Chryslers @ Carlisle -- for the best MOPAR spread of parts on the field !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
or (probably 1 last year for me) ----- at S13 - S15 at the Mopar Nationals in Hebron (not really Columbus), Ohio.......
