Is there any reason to run an RB dizzy in a B block other than shaft height for valve cover clearance? Any performance gains from the swap? Thanks!

shorter push rods. just a thought

If you buy a nice distributer for rb motor, u can use it in the b and if you decide to go rb you can still use it. Doesn't work the other way around, that's the only advantage I see.

No advantage and you need the spacer underneath.

Just a word of caution, that spacer does not work with all distributors. Mancini's, if I recall, only works with MSD pro billet I beloved, as it has a different diameter shaft.

I've made a bunch of adapters over the years in different bore sizes.....

I think the only other reason outside of valve cover clearance would be using a cap adapt to take advantage of the larger ford distributor cap. I'm probably going to look into this depending on how much timing I need to pull to launch my red four speed car on a relatively small tire.

I have seen the aluminum spacers,,,,,,,but I have never seen the hold down clamp,,,,,,,,,
