Chasing Classic Cars

I find Carini very interesting to watch. I learn something new every day about old cars from that show. The guy has been around cars his whole life and can actually turn a wrench, paint a car, and tune an engine. Lots of others like him into those high-end cars don't know a box wrench from potato salad.

I don't have any interest in 95% of the cars they showcase on CCC, but I do find the show interesting to watch.

Speaking of Wayne, check out the wrinkles in front of his ears; do you think he's had some tuck & roll work?

I have them too RC and I van assure you I have not had plastic.

Usually, when you do have the LIFT it removes that.

But I am like you
I don't like him nor the show

I LOVE it when he goes to auction and loses BIG!

I like the show. no drama, and it's something other than overhauling, *** monkey etc etc

I like the show. My wife likes Wayne. I like Roger. I have no complaints about it. He does the same thing as all the other shows. He buys cars, some he fixes up, and sells, some he just sells. He just does it at a higher price point. I like the auctioneer too. Very nice to actually be able to hear what's going on, as opposed to the constant babbling that most do, just so you can't think clearly, and make an intelligent decision. Or like in Mecum, where they get that big Ogre to loom over you to intimidate you into selling for less than your reserve. It's refreshing to see a car show that's not about muscle cars, although I love muscle cars. I live in Florida, and would love to go to Amelia Island, just once. I don't think anyone would talk to me though. I don't have enough dough......

Love the show still watch it learn a lot love roger still think Wayne is a slime ball but won't stop me from watching and enjoying

At first i didn't much care for carini but he has grown on me a lot and i like him now... He is quite keen on all kinds of autos and his finds are cool ... I was blown away by the stutz bearcat find recently !!!!

I have those also but it's directly related to the excessive G forces from driving my B bodies too fast.

When was your guys first date?? LOL just giving you a hard time man......Carini is a slimy troll, like many hi end car guys.....They love money, not cars.

Never met the guy. He runs with a monied crowd. Good on him. I think he actually loves the cars.

Ahhh who the hell cars maybe he is one of the rare few that has made it work with both. Not too concerned because the show is great and I'll still watch it. I could mute it like I do the auctions and just enjoy the cars. My car addiction has gotten the best of me before and cause me to spend ridiculous money lol but it's only money baby boy!! I'm glad to be able to walk on my own nowadays after being in a wheelchair for two years

It's an OK show...
By far nowhere near a favorite, I don't have the DVR set for it, like many car shows...

I do like his old mechanic too, he's a hoot sometimes...
Great knowledgeable guy, a true wealth of knowledge, he knows allot about different cars, eras & years...
His types, won't be around for much longer...

Wayne is in it for the $$$$, "mostly", just a flipper...

As for Wayne, IMO he seems like a decent guy, the pinky extended while drinking tea type...LOL
I agree he's a little pompous too, hoity toity, hobb nobbing, name dropping, crowd guy sometimes...
He's also helped out a few people, widows & heirs etc., get what their cars are worth too...
I respect that part, I'm sure he gets his too...

Some of the stuff he goes after isn't my cup of tea, I'm not really a big Ferrari guy,
but it's a car show so I watch...
I've seen a few Cobra's & a few muscle cars, but they're the rarity not the norm,
much more of the Brass era & Ducey's, Porsche's {I like}, Ferrari's, Lambo's etc. etc. etc.,
some older hot-rods & vintage racecars too {I like that}, but few & far between thou....

It's better than most the regular NYC or the Kardashian/Honey Boo Boo type programming...LOL

Carini would probably say "Mark who???"

I feel like throwing up every time I see him and listen to his voice.

That's the way I feel about Worman!

The episode where he took the boy who was a recent cancer survivor, for a ride in the 427 AC Cobra was pretty good.

Nope, don't like it, don't watch it! Everything seams to be more on the snooty side of the hobby...... big bucks for rare cars and no fun to be had. That's just my 2 cents, I like the shows that build cool cars that get used.

Wayne deals with a different world that most of us would not associate with if we could...

I enjoy seeing the rare antique autos on the show...some I have heard of and some I have not....

One beef I have with the show is all the nondisclosed purchase prices. At least on some but not all, he could disclose them.
