Friend of mine is going to buy this car. I noticed it was a late build car. Wonder how late they built
them before finishing them up for that model year.. IMG_3732.jpg

image.jpgimage.jpgmine is white right now. Maybe I should set up a go fund me account. It's original silver on silver with a red stripe

The highest 69 STL VIN I've seen is in the 3074** range with an SPD of 709

Here's one I found on eBay a while back. I wish I could've bought it because it is also a 7-02 SPD. the last 3 of my vin and the last 3 of the order number ( I think it's the order number) on both cars are 966. image.jpg

You've probably got the last of the scheduled builds, I'd guess. The shutdown times varied from plant to plant, but generally, you will not see a, say, 1969 model year build past July 15th of 1969. I've seen a 1966 build as early as July 31, 1965; and as late as July 4, 1966.

The latest 69 LR VIN/SPD I've seen is VIN #3137**. It, likely, has an SPD of 711. The VIN to SPD correlation gets a little skewed at the end of the production year in that an above average VIN range carries the same SPD.
