Pretty sure I'm not breaking any rules with this, as it seems it's not a member's car... but I was curious what people think this is worth (and don't say "whatever they'll pay"; heard it enough). Not a real R/T. Non number matching. Owner is asking $58k.

I stumbled across that one too. Nice looking car and you know if he paid someone to build it, he probably has double his asking price in it. Definitely doesn't warrant repainting, but it is to bad they covered up the silver imo. If it was done right, it will probably bring around $45K to the right buyer. Got to lose the fuzzy dice though.

The car has been for sale for a while, which simply means that it's priced too high. Lots of people today are foolishly dumping ungodly amounts of money "restoring" rusted out Charger hulks regardless of what's left of the car and what the VIN number states.

Regardless of what was spent on the car, it's hard to ask a real R/T price for something that isn't a real R/T. While I don't know this car, perhaps it's just not as nice in person as the pictures make it out to be? Personally, if I was going to invest that kind of money that this seller is asking, the last thing that I'd want is a 318 rust-bucket that has more aftermarket sheetmetal than original sheetmetal.

what someone invests in a restoration does not equal value in a car...i would probably shell out 30k cash if it was as nice in person, my opinion.

Yep, what he said.

Been for sale, forever. Look at the back-glass in the picture.
Too bad it wasn't restored to it's original colors.

I averaged out estimates from several sites including NADA and Hagerty and it came out to around $35k. So that $58k seems WAY off. I don't even know how you start a conversation with the owner when you want him to cut his asking price nearly in half :p

Looks like a nice car, but you can find a real R/T for similar money, or a nice clone for less.

Today's asking prices I contribute to too many part time Barrett Jackson viewers...

The seller does say... "PRICE REDUCED $ 58,000 OR MAKE OFFER."

Yeah, but like what was said ,how do you offer half of the asking price without the guy chasing you off his property with a garden hose.. guess you just wait it out if your interested ..68's are crazy money ..I sure would like a shot at one

It's been for sale for a while? Have you seen it before? The owner stated that it was originally a 383 btw.. but yeah, the point still stands.
