just wondering if a lot of these cars came with AC, the cars I've looked at didn't have it. looking for a 440-4 auto hard top with AC with no rust. what should i be looking to spend? thanks

Hard to say how many were made. Just look for code H51 on the fender tag, that will tell you if it's factory a/c car or not.

Also no a/c on N96 ramcharger hood cars.

Not sure abut not being available on 4 speed cars.

I've seen several 383 and 400 4 speed a/c cars.

Options and accessories report show about 532 of the 70 R/T hard tops shipped for sale in the US had A/C. Those would have been all 440-4 automatics.

A/C was never available with 440- four speed.

thanks man, so finding one will be hard with only 532 having AC, also need it to be consloe delete car. My dad had one and a want to get it real close to what he had. his color was dark green EF8 paint code. I've been looking for about 3 months with no luck

Who knows about availability. There should still be some out there but who knows in what condition or price.

Console delete.....An automatic on the column was standard. Adding the console option moved it to the floor. You can't delete what wasn't standard so there is no 'console delete'.

Just got the car delivered today, I had a smile from ear to ear. This car belong to a lady in Texas that lost her husband in the afghan war, she said her husband would have never sold it. She held on for 5 years but financial issues forced her to sell the car, I bought the car as a non running vehicle because she didn't want to try to start it with old gas. This weekend I'll know more.
