Yeah, that's a very harsh rule on importing cars....I'm glad we have it a little easier over here.

even easier over here now, just get a blue slip and reg just like a "normal car". no over the pits or anything just the local rego guy . we have a 30 + year limit but ( cars must be older than )

Hey Bernd, all may magazines are too new.
Go online to Hot Rod, Superstock, and such magazines and check out their archives for those years. There has to be something out there.
Good luck.

welcome! my 71 Satty landed in Germany 3yrs ago
I will ask in the german Mopar forum. Sooner or later i will see your car on an event.

if i could look into that magazine before i spend that 100 bucks. :-(

Thanks a lot to all of you guys.

Thank you, especially for diggin´in old magazines.
Next week i will sell my CBR and MR2 so i will have some money and some space in my garage for starting the project.
The first things i have to buy are the wheels cause i got 2 flat tires on old rims.
So i hope s.o. will find a magazine from 1979 with nice custom wheels on a 1968-70 Charger.

I have a question do aftermarket parts count for needing the documentation. Like with magnum 500s they were sold on some cars as well as Raylle wheels but there are companies who make replicas out of aluminum do you need the doc for that. If not they would be a nice new rim spin on an old school rim.

BTW Welcome

If its the same design and the same size it shouldn´t be a problem. What i am looking for is 16" or 17" Magnums or different designs, and thats the problem. I am only allowed to use that wheels when s.o. used it before 1980
