what is the capped hole on top of the wiper motor?


Remember a couple of things: first I got the car in Jan 1970, and it was totally unmolested; second the hole is certainly a factory hole, since it's perfectly formed like other holes and the plug is the same as other plugs. I don' believe that somebody could put such a perfect hole in the firewall after the car was sold. I must conclude that it was factory made and left for some reason. It is definitely weird.Looks like someone cut a hole to run extra wiring or a cable-driven tach or something else in days-gone-by.
Car looks absolutely awesome, and I'm sure there's a few envious folks out there drooling on a keyboard.

It is very interesting how many cars with the same holes are shown in that post. I understand the holes appear to be factory; I never saw one in person, but the evidence is there.isn't that hole on some 69 chargerssome light reading (5 pages)![]()
