So I need to install a fuel regulator and I would like to get one with a return. So I was looking at my gas tank (stock) and I have the main line coming out of the sending unit and about a foot over there's two (vents?). One goes up into the trunk it looks like and the other goes up and does a 180, kind of looks like a candy cane. Can I use one of these for a return? Or do I need a different sending unit with a return?

You don't want to use those tank venting lines for a fuel return.
Does your sending unit look like this?

If so, you'd want to use the smaller inlet on it for your fuel return.
If not, consider getting one like this.

Alright, it looks like I'll have to get a new one then. Mine only has the main line. Thanks moparedtn!

Just take your sender off, drill a hole and install a fitting or nipple. You can solder it on to seal it.

I removed my empty tank, drilled a hole, and installed a bulkhead fitting for my return line.
