I need a bulged hood for a Coronet.

I thought it was just the leading edge trim piece added to the 69's? Are they interchangable otherwise?

69 will fit after you remove the end piece on the Front. The underside is cover by the insulation anyways.

The under side is different. The 69 hood has provisions for the Ramcharger set up. The 68 does not. Plus, there are other differences like number of holes and placement of holes. They will fit and interchange and look fine until you lift the hood. Then it becomes obvious when they are not "correct".

No not yet. I did find a guy that has a 69 hood that is really good shape.

With the hood insulation in it you won't see the holes. Mine came with the stock insulation and had no fitment problems and had it painted the same time as the car.
