72 to 71 hideaway bumper

I have a 72 full bumper plus hideaway headlight assembly can the hideaway assembly be placed into a 71 bumper?

Same question for the Rear, can a 72 rear bumper light assembly insert be placed into a 71 bumper?

Between 71 and 72 just changes the grills amd tail lights design AND the Jack provision, but pieces are phisically the same
