Ever increasing threat of home invasion, so I bought:

And if life goes a bit south for you personally you can always go to a mall or school and blow the **** out of some unsuspecting souls or maybe your children could high jack your toy and entertain themselves just like in DOOM. Me, I like dialing 911. By the way, is that made by Chrysler?

What's this with the CCW number? I never give up my element of surprise. Do you have Castle Doctrine laws?

CCW: Concealed Carry Weapon (permit). And sometimes, letting the element (aka: the peacemaker) be known eliminates the confrontation (and keeps the peace).

Won't divulge much of what I have, but here's the Weiner alarm system:View attachment 379199he will rip your shins up. Notice the Doberman markings- he thinks he is one. While he's entertaining them, the next sound they hear will be the 870 chambering one up.
Nice choice
Love the dog and i agree

I know what a CCW is. I've had one since the early 80's. It's the yelling and announcing that I find disturbing. As far as any tactical advantage you had...it was lost. I'd say that statistics would prove otherwise, when 2 armed parties are involved. If one isn't armed, yes...one should flee if possible. If both are armed ...one is gonna shoot when confronted face to face. You never give up the element of surprise. Brandishing is stupid. I would have called law enforcement, and silently held my ground. If they entered.......game on. Is that some kinda law in your kountry, that you have to tell everybody[bad-guys] you have a firearm?

Thanks! Dont underestimate a Dacshund either, they were raised to go down a hole and battle with Badgers. I can't break mine from killing woodchucks, he's pretty fearless.
Great dog

No, just my choice in this situation because every situation (after reading it) is different.

If you become a potential target for home invasion, a short gun is controllable. A long gun can be easily taken and is awkward. The primary concern is to own a good sized dog to protect you from the ever more common home invader. Calling 911 immediately that your home is in danger and your in fear for your life and need urgent help is number 1. The next thing is be prepared to use the gun if you pull it out. The third thing is be prepared to be sued and risk having charges filed against you by the ever sick and gotten sicker liberal Court system. Also owning a dog requires you are willing to train the dog and spend the time to alert members of your home to be aware of the world around them.

all I have to say is good f-in luck if the dogs for some reason don't handle it my wife ND I are itching for the chance to try out her new bull pup assault rifle with all of its tactical attachment. But no fear the 45 is near by as is the 12 ga pump loaded with a sinister buck shot /slug combo both are in the same shell!

I keep my guns in a safe as I have young daughters, but about two years ago my wife got Gunther. He weighs 118 pounds and does not like surprises or men including me.

Glad to see some people are prepared against the hordes of shitbags in this society. We do our personal best.

Wireless-link alarm system.[direct to PD]
8 cameras, constantly recording.
Good locks on doors.
Motion detecting, outdoor lighting.
All windows and doors are visible to street and neighbors.
4 dogs.
2 trained CPL holders in the home.[1 well trained] 8^)

Everybody needs to take their safety, seriously. The bad-guys are serious.
ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS, AND PEOPLE AROUND YOU.

Personally, I like to keep my "security" details to my self. It's more of a surprise to the unsuspecting intruder.

Although I agree with your point, a little advertising can also have a desired effect. I would rather deter someone from a break-in that have to actually shoot someone and mess up my house. :elmer:

I also have an alarm system (no cameras) and good locks on the doors, but I believe my best defense is being surrounded by desert with the only way in or out being the driveway which is alarmed for vehicles. Oh yeah, and my Mossberg 12 ga. pump and a box of .00 buck shells backed up by a bad attitude towards anyone breaking in to my home.....

Hey Bart.....I don't have a bad-attitude. That'll get ya in legal trouble. I'm just defensive.

Not to disagree but to add to the point.....why give away any info, lull them into thinking it is an easy target. If they know you may be armed they might bring bigger firepower and/or an accomplice(s), now you may be "outgunned",at least in numbers. I'd rather have them think I'm some liberal who thinks no one should own a gun.....that's right, I believe gun control is the ability to hit your target!
