Nice, I also have a Springfield XDM45 compact that I carryI have more than enough carry-pieces. Unless I'm under-dressed due to weather or need to tone it down for events.....HK USPc40.

When I lived in dummycrat run Illinois it took 6 months just to get my FOID card to be able to purchase a firearm, i live in Indiana now where you don't need anything but an id to purchase a firearm, I paid 160 for a lifetime conceal carry permit and it was approved by the state police in 24 hours!Depending upon the clothing, I carry either a Sig Sauer P226 or a Sig Sauer P230.
Extremely hard to get a Concealed Carry Permit here in Socialist Maryland...I've had mine now since 1987.
I currently reside in Indiana, but still work in Illinois on the south side of Chicago where 4,000+ people have been shot this year. Needless to say I do not travel through that neighborhood unarmed, even though my permit isn't valid in Illinois because I didn't pay hundreds of dollars in fees and classes to get an IL permit, a little civil disobedience is worth the risk of being caught in a life or death situation and being unarmed. I've heard Trump and his team is working on a bill that would make your permits like a drivers license, valid in any state.Generally I carry my Paps gov.model 1911 or my s/w model 36 snubby with a molded leather holster with a spring wire that goes inside your pants/belt and it stays put very well. As I have gotten older I don't like shooting the big bores much any more, I guess. On my 1911 I use the standard military M-3 shoulder holster and after 50 + years I still cant find anything better. As a matter of fact I have and will continue to pack heat regardless of state by state laws. During my working years I traveled pretty much all of the central/midwest states and those two weapons wear and fit very well. I was never the type to hang around bars late at night in some god forsaken armpit close to a construction field with a bunch of F-sticks and swing a weapon around [we all know the type] but, I'm very thankful I always was able to make it home to my wife and boys. Its amazing how easy you can get into a hairy situation without even trying. I always figured if I had to smoke some fractured low life that the legal system would protect me if all was correct and am still ready willing and able as are my sons and grandsons. No sane man wants to kill, but don't force sane men. Good luck all.
Cool! You would think Texas would be like that too but it's not. If everything is right on the application and after 8 hours of class room and qualifying on the range, you get your license in about a month or so. I think it's more back log than anything. Also, first renewal is 4 hours of class room and again to the range but only had to confirm paperwork and send in the fee the 3rd time. And the carry license should be on your driver's license instead of being a separate card. The already both look very alike. When I lived in dummycrat run Illinois it took 6 months just to get my FOID card to be able to purchase a firearm, i live in Indiana now where you don't need anything but an id to purchase a firearm, I paid 160 for a lifetime conceal carry permit and it was approved by the state police in 24 hours!
