What's The Fastest Speed You Have Been

In 1980,driving my 70 RR across the prairies in Manitoba. Took out my 3.91s put in 2.76s for the trip. L60 15s , warmed over 383 ,5500 in drive, belted tires and sitting fairly high for that game. figured 157mph at the time I remember, might have been wrong. with drum brakes and flat ground in neutral took 40 min to coast down to 50mph.

Cool if so but doesn't count. Read the original post.
OK Runner 68 I was not on land but i was the vehicle and i was driving me. And this is only for fun right? Due to original post can i have 3rd place?

Yep, the drum brakes made better boat anchors

I have a hard time believing that a 2011 Mustang could do 208 mph.

128MPH in my 1965 Impala SS, 454 CI 564HP. Fenders and hood ballooning .....lol.

We're you sporting wheels, at least two?

Anyone can fall out of a plane. Lol (All in fun!)

Disqualified!

Well i had a 70 R/T Charger w/ 440 on Gran Turismo 5, totally tuned, weight shaved, the kitchen sink, & that is exactly what it was good for on back straight of Nurburgring....208 mph. I love underdogs.....racing the 250 mph GTP coupes.......i consistently fnished third, pulled up a second one day, fought those bastards hard on back straight, got pushed into two 360's by the wolves, got set back to 5th recovering, but never left pavement & passed the 3 fux in the last set of turns before finish line. 7 minutes, 20 seconds lap time. Unfortunately there was no small block option in tuning,,,if so i would have smoked em everytime.

The 3 318 B bods i had, no front sway bars, were good for 115 - 120 mph......not busy, waffley at all. Directional stabilty was outstanding for a long wheelbase, stock automobile.

OK khryslerkid I am going to the back of the line. Disqualified no wheels. You are right anyone can but not everyone will lol. As I said no motor no skills no intelligence.

The 73 charger's needle was buried several times heading down I95. Portland, Me is about 2.5 hours from my house and we made the trip in 1 hour, 15 minutes and that was with a short stop to let it cool down! Lol!

I know I had a cruiser well over that. The 96 caprice classics would fly. Evoc courses only for the big speed.

Well, like some say, I'm not jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft. I've known a couple of guys that belonged to a skydiving club and they weren't crazy or stupid. Actually they were the last that you would think would do it. I guess they liked the "rush" and I get that. I'll get my rushes on the ground where gravity intended it to be. Lol

yeah those things were kites at speed..
MY Pro-Gas 49 ford business coupe {actually a 51 with 49 Hood & grill}
went 180+ in the 1/4 no ballooning at all,
albeit 7 Dzus fasteners holding the hood down,
the fenders were OE steel, so was the hood...
