2016

Latter in 2016 was a great part of the year,
I for once, in a very very very long time now,
I am actually looking forward to 2017 & beyond...

A much brighter outlook....
GREAT things are ahead...

Happy New Year to all my FBBO friends...

2016 was good for me, all the family is alive and well and I still have a job

Overall, 2016 wasn't terrible for me, solely because I'm always finding the bright side (like extra time to work on cars). But it wasn't great. It was the slowest year for work in my 30 year career in the oilpatch. But hey, life goes on and things seem to be picking up. Bring on 2017!

I'm optimistic and looking for a good year. First order of business is finishing the 512 assy. and other mods on the 64 and then on to other projects. All looks good for the family too! Good luck to all!

30 years ago I never pictured myself at 64.....**** Babee, no ******* complaints....it's ALL Bonus! It has been a wild assed ride......it all goes back to God & He has proven Himself to have quite the sense of Humor by keeping my crazee *** around & kicking.........Hello 2017!!

Same here on both counts. Hoping the ride lasts a few more miles. I had little to do with any of it. A lot of luck and timing.

With Christmas now behind us and a New Year in a few days, id ask how did 2016 treat you?BTW no politics please

Hey, Steve. I see your request to keep politics out of this but....
My outlook for the future is brighter than it as been in years. Some of my faith in my fellow man has been restored.

It looks like 2017 will be better for work. Closer job sites as opposed to the 90-115 mile commutes that I have had in the past 2 years.

2016 was good to me also. Our house value doubled in the first few months of the year, making it virtually impossible to over-capitalise with our pending renovations. Woo-hoo.
And my Chinese neighbours (came from China when they bought the house) are still wanting to share the costs of the fences I am repairing right now. I had to ask her the to repeat what she said....I could have sworn she said something else ....it was actually "share your cost"....not ....oh, never mind ....her husband is back in China for a while yet. Only took me about 30 minutes to bowl another 12 meters of fence and load it on my trailer.

My tow Biz was a little off,but steady.Snow plowing has been great.Had 2 daughters got married this summer, one was on my Carlisle weekend but there is always next year.NO MORE kids at home!!
Taking my engine out to freshen after 5 years of abuse. My winter is cut out for me!!
Wishing you all a healthy & Happy New Year!

2016 was a great year for me all the way around other than loosing my faithful pal of 14 years Sayde (Rottweiler). Never had to worry about the wife or kids with her on watch, just a very mellow mannered good dog that didn't back down from anything. RIP

Aside from that it was my first full year at my new position, my bonus tells me it went well:thumbsup:. Bought the Can Am which has been a blessing in many ways, enjoyed the Charger with no issues other than smoking the clutch, finally built a new garage and welcomed 2 beautiful kids into our family to top it all of.

2016 was good. Feb saw my first full year as a retired soldier, got to see my daughter for a few weeks, even if it turned out badly, my wife is still above ground, the Express was moved along a good bit, finally got a tractor and scored another $900 dollar F150! Oh and got a 440 for Christmas. What's not to like? Happy New Year everyone!!
