Don't F with American Muscle

F YES! Top one is for pussies and the bottom is to get some.

Ok ... The top one will probably get some too but just wanted to talk a little ****. ;)

Sure. But the Veyron Sport will keep going in seventh gear until it hits 268.
I can't afford either one.

Why not? I've had my 70 Charger to 130 with plenty left to go, 3.55 gears. A 2.76 diff and better aero should be worth more than 160, 170.

The modified nascar bird would do 200, the Veyron is stock. Does a stock Superbird hit 160?

WHY YES IT DOES ... AND I CAN ATTEST TO IT FIRSTHAND! And it was right before I had to change my Fruit of the Looms. ;)

It was in a limelight green 440-6, A-833, Dana 'bird.

Ok, but I got one better. The SUPERBIRD might be modified but it's all motor all HEMI. Add 4 turbos and it will right with the veywhat. Lol

That 440 must have really been singing at the 7500rpm you would need to turn for 160mph. Dang, those factory hydraulic lifters must be stout!

Give me the money that the Verynon Splort cost so I can build one of these and go 300mph.

Sorry, you're right...spelling. I imagine he'd be happy because he's been trying for so many years to crack 300 with his two salty Daytonas. Some detractors have said that there's too much frontal area on those old designs and it would be nice to show them wrong.

Not sure what his problem is/was but in the one old run vid he never went over 60% throttle, 7200rpm, and went 270mph. Seemed to maybe need a taller gear.

If you want to do a speed run in your Buggati, call the factory first, they can live data log for you.. At max speed the car runs out of gas and tires at the same time.. Need a Tire pressure sensor? $1200 to $1400 bucks (per), must be superlite compared to the standard ones in a Bentley. So yeah, fun to look at, but I would rather build a race car for speed runs!

Kern Dog is right, a 2.76 diff is good for at least 160. My uncle was once a VT State Trooper; he had friends. One night, we went out on I-89 with a couple ex-cruisers. My '74 Polara reached 152. His '73 Sport Fury hit 161.

Been to 150 in my E body Cuda/4spd/2.76 gears and 27 inch tires.
