Hi everyone! I started working on this project a long time ago, but family and other priorities got in the way. It got to where I needed to get rid of it or finish it, so I've decided to finish. It'll be a resto-mod. B5 exterior, white vinyl top, D6B7 interior. I have a 440 mostly built, and since it will be a driver, I'm putting spfi on it.

That's where I run into trouble. I have some B7 paint that isn't perfect for the dash and steering column, but it isn't bad, and I'm satisfied. But the dye I got for the plastic parts doesn't look right It seems too dark. Can anyone tell me what the right colors would be for the dash pad, dash, door panels and seats? I'm also trying to figure out what the right color is for the tops of the doors inside. Any help is appreciated!

Welcome, from Northern Iowa. I also have a 70 Coronet.
This is the place. Show some pics

Welcome aboard. Plenty of good information and people here that can help you out. Not sure on the color codes without looking them up but you always have the option of tinting your paints for the interior to lighten or darken. I wanted a little contrast on my interror plastic and metal parts so the guy that sprayed the dye or flexible paint just tinted the parts a little differently to change the shade. I'm not a painter so maybe a professional can chime in here. Gotta love those 70 coronets !

you got to love those 70 coronets I got a drop top myself

My 69 GTX used a B7 on the interior doors and trim. I haven't done the dash but will soon. I was going to contact some of the companys to see about the suede paint for the dash & steering column. Hi from Milo! Pictures of your ride?

Kinda grainy but you can see top & bottom is B7 & middle matches the B5 on outside

Welcome again

Maybe start a build thread in the appr. section or
ask the questions in the General Discussion or other appr. forum etc.

this is the welcome wagon, it's mainly intended as a intro section
share a few photos background etc., not really a tech Q&A section,
also it's nowhere near as much viewership, as the others

good luck & happy Moparing

I believe my first contact with you guys was a question about brakes that I put into the welcome wagon. Point being, it takes a bit to learn the ropes.
That being said, Budnicks is correct. The best, fastest way to get a question answered is to place it in the correct forum.
The welcome wagon is only watched by a few.
