I'm looking for a code or something I can give to the local paint shop to mix me up some dash and steering wheel paint. Anyone have a source?

Some automotive paint supply stores like Keytone can actually put a camera of sorts on the surface and come up with a mixture formula and mix up a spray can for you. I had it done for my exterior and it was a perfect match.
I bought a can for the interior from Herbs Parts #1177. Description was #330 DK MET Blue 1969-70. It was WAAAY to light. I'm going to go have a photo match can made up unless you come up with something cheaper here.

Bad part is I really haven't a good reference to match to.
I did find a Ditzler # 13449 may see what it looks like.
Well went to the store and ppg doesn't do lacquer anymore. They did a cross reference but it was a metallic and not even close. They asked me to bring in a sample that maybe they can match.
baltic blue is the color name I got mine from Kolor korrect. Someone painted the interior black
but there was original color left on the dash in some hidden spots and in the door glass opening. The dash,steering column and upper windshield trim have the suede finish.

Here's some pics of the dash. I think my pads are to light but they were done with OER bright blue. I plan to repaint the pads with 330 dark metallic blue
Beekeeper what paint is the 330 dark metalic blue.
Classic industries has it. OER #1177 PP330 dark metallic blue in spray can the color on the pads currently is PP338 bright blue. Check out the classic industries website. The color on the dash frame is Baltic blue suede from Kolor korrect it comes in a pint to mix 1 to 1 with lacquer thinner

How long ago did you get it from Kolor Korrect, I saw a lot of bad reviews for poor customer service (long wait time).
I have seen them bad reviews myself but I do like their paint I took 3 weeks to get it but that was told to me when placing the order
Do you remember the price? Was 1 pint enough for the steering column & dash?
Also how many cans to do all your parts, kick panels, dash, trim. 3?
3 cans would be close. You would need one pint of suede finish for the dash,steering column and upper windshield trim which is more than enough. For the steering wheel,roof line trim,upper and lower door panels and upper quarter panels you would need the gloss or low gloss finish.

I didn't! It was around 300 to my door for two pints. The spray cans of the 330 dark metallic is 16.99 a can.

Sometimes if you want it done right it costs $$$
I can't say for sure these paints are spot on for color but that's where I'm at right now. I took the advice of a member here and contacted Dave Patnik at performance car graphics
for advice on the correct color for the pads and plastic trim parts. Hopefully
he can steer me in the right direction
