Historic day! 850 HP, Fastest 0-60 (2.3 seconds) 0-100 (5 seconds) 1/4 mile in 9.65 seconds at a blistering 140 mph.... DEAD STOCK! Gas and go! Chevy, Ford, Imports, Supercars, eat your heart out! Not just a "big" "dumb" car, many high tech features, lots of innovation. My Mopar pride has never been higher..!

Dodge is back on top of the muscle car scene, FCA does deserve praise as well. This thing is an absolute beast

If this is true:

Approved roll bars and belts and other safety features for 9 sec cars should meet NHRA requirements nothing new here,but would be great to see or drive it down the 1/4 mile,,just hard to believe 4200 lb, 2017 stock car running in the 9's,would be great to see a factory team race the Demons,,like the old ram charger team of the 60's

Ford & Chevy will be scrambling too...

Oneupmanship will commence, I love it,
9.65 @ 140 off the showroom "well sort of anyway",
after "crate" purchase, ECM & racing gas tune etc.

It's like 1968-1970 all over again !!
but with far better technology & far faster/quicker results,
the era of new HP wars, by the Big 3...

Ya' gotta' love it if your a car guy, especially a Mopar Guy...
Us that were too young for the previous era, I was 10 in 1969,
unable to get them new...
{not that I will or can get one, it's pretty damn cool to know it's there}

Wallace calculator puts HP right in the 920's. Chrysler's sandbaggin the HP numbers, just like old times.
