It is not "shitty" to say what I posted. If he was so depressed, he should have got some help. He decided to end his life, left a wife and kids, that equals selfish.
People may not like what I've said, but it's the truth and that hurts, plain and simple.

He was a great talent, entertainer and I enjoyed his music!

If only it were as easy as simply "getting help". Unfortunately, it isn't...for both the victims and the families.
You simplifying it as selfish is a cop out. There''s absolutely more to suicide than simply being depressed and needing help. Certainly, people who are considering taking their own lives need help. Without question. It's more complicated than many realize though. I have close personal experience with this subject which has made me very aware of the many circumstances involved.
Again, people in their right mind do not take their own lives. The illness does.

Agreed, but there is help and if the person doesn't get it, then they themselves are the ones responsible.

Leaving loved ones behind cause the person sees no other way, is a cop out. Those that get the help, are much better off, especially if loved ones can help the "healing" process.

I can see how suicide could be considered as a Selfish act if you have a family that loves and needs you but some people just want peace and a way out. And i don't blame them for that. If Death is what it takes for somebody to find solace then so be it. Its not my job to judge them.

He was on some anti anxiety drug Ativan. They prescribe it to people to help with addictions. It has some bad side effects including severe anxiety and suicidal thoughts.
After a stressful he had taken a few too many he told his wife, she called security right away to check on hin but it was too late.
Tragic as hell. I swear half of these ******* medications that cure are worse than the problem ailment they are meant to treat. He should have just kept with the heroin, couldn't have ended any worse.
I'm more fearful of Chantix or Ambien or Xanax than I ever have been the usual list of black market drugs.

Sad news about Chris Cornell, heck of a musician. Black hole sun, Rusty cage, outshined are some of my favorites. RIP....
Yeah, some of those drug side affects are horrible. I had cousin many years agos (20 or so) was prescribed some anxiety or depression med. One of the side affects, that the doctor did not make clear, was suicidal tendencies. She drove her car into the river the first night she took it. Really tough on all of us.

You see commercial advertising medications. 75% of the commercial is side effects. And most of them are bad.
My brother wanted to take Chantix to quit smoking, (He's an unhinged prick on his good days) fortunately he tried cold turkey first and it's worked thus far.
A few years ago I took an Ambien to help sleep, never will again. Hard to explain but not for me

Only suicide people that I consider as cowards are the ones that off themselves after intentionally causing or attempting harm others or try to do suicide by cop etc.
