So he gets on top of the gate, but instead of going down the stairs, proceeds to get back on the inside, tear down the gate, then go down the stairs? And after drinking all the humming bird feed! What a bastard!

Is that your guys idea of livestock?

He was probably trying to get into your garage to check out the Mopar. Fantastic to have wildlife like that in this world today.

Going to have to start pulling those stairs off the ground. He has found food and will be back.

Yes this was his 2nd visit. board to block and lock gate. A board on top of railing to make a tunnel.

not a bear or bears , but there cousins raccoonsDSC05605.JPG DSC05603.JPG come through my yard with there young to feed and drink on the outside cats meals .

Need a M80 for that bear. Raccoons carry lots of disease, as well as outdoor cats.

well that was a few tears ago , the rains kept them away , but the rains have gone , i thought i heard them late night . but never looked . but the peahen is still in the tree . raccoons bug her . and yes i live in downtown area of my city . two creeks , so lots of wild kridders at nigh . just looking for food , and a place for the family too . after all fences only stop humans .

heard a commotion outback last night, our cat was out so I thought she'd caught a mouse or bunny. flipped on the light and sprawled out next to the deck was a couple day old fawn, then saw momma and a second fawn a few feet away. I'm still not sure if the cat jumped the fawn or maybe the fawn ran into the deck or something. Sorry could get any pics.

Yea not to be able to get pictures sucks. We couldn't get any when he did the same thing 10 days ago at 4 am.

Local wildlife people here recommend installing electric fences to deture the bears.
If he is getting on the deck not much to keep him out of the house if he smells food.

just watching "Alaska the last frontier" and apparently their VERY tasty :elmer:

Very cool, kinda. I love watching wildlife, sometimes I enjoy it more than the hunting as I'm hidden up in a tree.

We're seeing more Bears and Bobcats working their way into Ohio but they're still pretty rare to see around here. Tons of Whitetail Deer, Raccoons, Possums, Coyotes, Fox and Turkey's though.

firecrackers work for the moment, we used to carry them when we went brook trout fishing in the woods up north. Scary as hell waking up in a tent at three in the morning with a bear wondering thru the camp site.
