As we get later in life, I guess it is inevitable that we all get a little flabbier around the middle.
That's why you are reading this now -- you agree..... Well, sometimes, we have to change our life style.....
So yesterday, I went to the new fitness place that opened up near me.... and they have some swanky new equipment -- some of which I didn't know what they were or how to use them....
So, I asked the manager, "Which of these machines will make me more attractive to the
LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He thought, and pointed.................................................. to the ATM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smart guy. That's the one machine that will keep the ladies coming. Outside of that a lot of cardio is the secret. Cut down on your alcohol intake if you drink. I lost 15 pounds in the last few months by walking 3 miles a day and quit drinking wine. Which was all I ever drank. If I was more serious and bumped up the activity I would/could lose even more and tighten up the girth a bit. Lifting weights when in your later years is still good for you - but no need to go for the heavy stuff. Light weights with a lot of reps does the trick. Keep that ATM stocked and you'll have the ladies chasing you down the street. Good luck - no reason you have to be flabby.

That walking thing is good, too....
My doctor told me to walk 5 miles a day -- and it would do wonders for me.....
I called him 2 weeks later to say, "Hey Doc, I don't know if this is any good -- but now I am 70 miles away from home!!!!"
(the blonde women among us will get that in 10 minutes -- because they are still doing the math.....)

With certain ladies- a Mopar would work pretty good too!

On a serious note for anyone trying to lose a few, it all starts in the kitchen, avoid anything with a drive through window at all costs. Cut soda and sweet beverages out of your diet and see how you feel, you'll be amazed. The ONLY way to drop pounds is to be in a calorie deficit, burn more calories than you take in. There are calculators and apps out there to give you a good starting point to see about how many calories you burn a day with out any type of exercise. You can add your goal weight, meals, and exercise routine into the app to give you a clear path to your goal. The app I used is called my fitness pal, very user friendly.

P.S - take a daily multivitamin such as men's one a day or the one I use from GNC is called mega men.

Of course, since I told you all that I am on a new fitness kick -- I have to tell you -- last night I burned 5000 calories!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did I do it, you ask..... NO, it wasn't sex -- I am not that lucky........
I put a cookie tray full of brownies in the oven and set it to 350.......
I fell asleep ....... and when I awoke....... they were ALL BURNED.............
(Bummer) Hey, have a nice day and a brownie with ice cream (it IS July 4th weekend!!!!!! -- Celebrate!!!!!)
