Need some input from my FBBO brethren.

Got a chance to pick up a set of long ram intakes and cross over pipe with throttle linkage. No carbs.

Any idea what its worth? Have a '70 D100 swept line and thought it would look cool under the hood. Is it worth the hassle of looking cool or should I stick with a traditional 4bbl set up?

eye candy, really not worth anything but!

Pro's and cons. To the O.E. guys they are worth gold. You may find they look good under the hood, but aren't too street friendly.Don't get me wrong you may like 2x4's.
Oh and the O.E. guys with the early Chryslers may not be too friendly.
But Hey,don't take my word for it...( If I had the chance I would do it )

Been looking for an affordable set for years. Short divider sets are hard to come by and still VERY expensive. Have seen many long divider sets ( just manifolds, nothing else ) at swap meets for $800.

Check carefully for cracks and be prepared for lots of tinkering. They went to the short ram pretty quick because of flow issues.

Thanks guys.
I'll let you know which way it goes.

been using a set on the street for years and love them

You could really go for the gusto and do port injection which would really take care of any fuel distribution issues.

offenhauser (spelling?) used to make a pair of runners that bolted to 2 barrel intakes that made the same setup. have never seen those on a car, just the factory setups. always wondered if i could bolt them to a tunnel ram and get them to run. would look insane.
