I'm with Jeff on this one.
What's done is done, nothing can change the past. But I'd hate to see the responsible and legal gun owning community blamed for this.
Well now that you know all there is about the weapon used, maybe you could learn a bit about how those wh lost loved ones feel. How insensitive of you.
This is what happens when you react to initial news reports. His brother claimed he had only a couple of firearms, but all the evidence shows he didn't know his brother as well as he thought. One of the gun shops that he frequented released a statement yesterday that yes they had sold him guns, but they were all purchased legally and didn't set off any flags.I think we're all getting different numbers. Last I heard (on Fox), there were 17 at the hotel (16 rifles & 1 handgun) and 18 firearms (breakdown unknown) at his residence. That's a shitload of firearms for someone who is supposedly not a big firearm enthusiast and who has lived a relatively normal/quiet life.
As for Tom Petty, I am bummed beyond belief. What an incredible singer with a such a unique voice/style. I hate to see the passing of such a great performer like him overshadowed by such a horrific tragedy. RIP Tom.
Yep... that's a bump stock. This was taken in room where he was firing from. Looks like bump stock to me.

The guns were bought and made for a purpose. The guy was sick. We can't and shouldn't sugar coat it.
That's also got a 100 round sure-fire mag. One combo that'll get the media all riled up. It doesn't take long to dump 100 rounds! This was taken in room where he was firing from. Looks like bump stock to me.

Didn't realize that's what a 100 round mag looked like. Would have guessed that at 50 rounds. Still this guy got off so many "auto" rounds for quite a while.
They have allready band knives. They have arrested butchers over taking there tools home to sharpen them. What are you even talking about? Information is knowledge, knowledge is power. It does no harm to educate, particularly because there is little chance of exposure to the victims. What are you personally doing about the high rate of stabbings in your own country? Ban the knife for Briton's sake!
North Korea (for example) seems to have a good handle (control) on their countries guns. And they don't seem to have mass killings like this. They have peace among their countrymen. I'm sure they have crazy folks that kill at random like we all do but it is likely not by guns that individuals acquire.
