Took the day off work to be at home for the countertop template measuring just to be sure they got it right and wish I wouldn't have. Since I was home I fired up the Charger and took the kids to school (my daughter loves being dropped off in it), once home I parked it off to the side of the driveway on the bank and got to work on the house. On a trip to the garage for a tool I noticed bugs all collected in one spot on the Charger... thinking it was odd I took a closer look

!!! Evidently if you park on a bank the fuel goes to one side sealing off the filler neck then as the day warms the air escaping pushes fuel out of the filler and all over the car... The bugs were stuck in the gas!!!! Not knowing how long it had been leaking I inspected it and whataya know I'll be repainting some of my rear quarter now. At least the worst of it is where I was planning on touching up some stone chips but don't look forward to the other spot... What a pain that will be to repair, blend and buff without getting into the rump stripe!
