Very, very depressing is how it looks and feels! I love my beautiful scenery that is slowly turning into dead looking trees with all the leaves dropping. Of coarse plenty of rain lately making it a mess and making it harder to get the Charger out.
Sorry it's dark out or I'd take a picture... oh yeah and it's getting dark early!

Here in So Cal we have only two seasons: Summer, and Not Summer. lol
Pretty much the same way where I live. Good thing is the weather have cooled off for the time being....and now I'm dealing with a pretty good allergy attack and am not really able to enjoy being outside. Oh well, things could be worse.

It's still Indian Summer here
it's still 80+ this week, leaves are still mostly green
not completely dumping yet
the grass has turned/dormant a light brown, from summer
usually gets more green in later Oct. early-mid Nov.
right about the time fog, snow & rain starts

the deer & turkeys are moving a lot
the coyotes have moved on
haven't seen any {rattle} snakes in quite a while
still have the blue belly lizards running on the retaining wall
as soon as they quit showing up, it's winter
we have a really short fall season

turkeys out pecking

No kidding my pal...
I love the Spring and Summer. Fall and Winter get me down. I'm going to try to keep a happy face though. The recent trials that I have been through have me feeling grateful to be alive and healthy!

Very little color here this year.
Leaves are just turning brown and falling off.

Not a real pretty show of colors this year. The Maples are the prettiest. I will be snapping shots of ours soon. Here's a few from Hickory Hills. The hickory and oaks aren't too showy either. Even though the trees aren't vibrant there is beauty everywhere.
