Is '74 Road Runner factory equipped with a 120 MPH rallye speedo?

Plus squad cars...I purchased one on EBAY a few months ago for my '79 Magnum GT. Had it rebuilt and now in the car instead of the 85 mph limit one. Mine has the 140 mph limit and states "Certified".

actually I'm pretty sure 74s allways got 120 MPH speedos, while 73s could began to get 120 speedos on second half of production

That 8,000 RPM tach is aftermarket (we all know factory tach was 7,000 RPM)

This is what i've found. 120 mph speedo on RR and Satellie Sebring plus so probably original

correct. Maybe original got damaged. It seems still have the clock shaft knob plug on lense so it must be a an original tach car

I've heard that if you got the 318 or 400-2 you got a 120, but a 340, 400-4 or 440 got the 150.

maybe to 73 because I have seen 73s with mixed speedos... I can tell if it was for the engine setup, or a mid year change but I'm pretty sure never have seen a 74 with 150 speedo... aside what catalog says listing just one speedo.

74s could be easy to tell... they are blue high beams indicator and horizontal slot for it

Just checked 73 and 74 dealership databooks for Charger and Satellites and everyone specifies 120 speedos on Rallye cluster BUT 73 Satellite catalog which doesn’t say anything about
