I think the design of these changed year to year, but the function is essentially the same so they interchange. Since you're going to a non-stock carb, none of them is going to work perfectly for you without some adaptations. The Holley connections are different and hopefully you're using an aftermarket intake that will put the carb higher than stock. And to make matters worse, if you have an auto trans, the kickdown is going to be off as well.
There are two major types of brackets, and they are for with, and without, cruise control. The non-cruise brackets have a single clamp, and the cruise brackets have a second clamp on an extension above the throttle cable clamp. I initially extended a cruise bracket by welding in extensions as Doug described, which fixed my throttle issues but screwed up the kickdown.
I think you can save yourself a whole lot of time, money, and trouble by just going with aftermarket throttle and kickdown brackets and cables. You can pay $$$ for the Lokar kits, or get the exact same kits as generics off ebay for about $40. These will let you get the throttle and kickdown connected regardless of what carb/intake you use.
