I was wondering if any of you expert Mopar folks would have a photo of a 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T Dana-60 Pinion Snubber. This R/T is my first Mopar, and the Dana-60 is missing the snubber. Seems when I give it some power, feels like something is banging on the rear of the car. Wanted to install an original Pinion Snubber as the car is mostly original. Thanks, Richard

Agree with Fran
check everything
U bolts. spring eye rubbers. broken leaf u-joints
banging could be the symptom of a safety issue

Mopar Folks,
I should of described the rear noise a little better. The sound is more like a "thud". Also, the underbody just above where the Pinion Snubber would be located shows a small area where something was rubbing it. Everything looks great with regards to both the front and rear suspension. I put the car thru a fairly extensive test drive before purchase, and for a 48 year old car, it is solid. Richard

What the above posts mean is that ‘something’ is worn out , letting the pumpkin hit the underbody. Shocks, springs....
